My sister is moving into her first home. My husband found a light for her at this site and the quality is extraordinary. We were then given a thank you discount, and have ordered 3 more lights. Customer service is outstanding. I am so thrilled to have found this site.

The Hanover Collection
Not only does our bell jar lantern capture the timeless style of a British heirloom, blown
glass and cast brass ensures Hanover will be admired for generations. Patterned after
the signature lanterns that graced royal foyers during the English Regency, Hanover resounds with authentic details. Filigreed
hangers anchor Hanover's three brass chains, while a glass smoke bell warmly diffuses light across an expanse of upward space.
The wonders that surround Hudson Valley's design studio in New York's storied Hudson River Valley are an endless source of inspiration for their fixtures. With the unrivaled cosmopolitan glamour of Manhattan, the strong architectural history of colonial settlers, the industrial grit of nineteenth-century riverside factories, and the botanical beauty of unspoiled wilderness all at their doorstep, their design motifs are as varied and exciting as your decorating imagination. And, whether they create an elegant neoclassic collection or one inspired by the utility of industrial design, they expand the possibilities for each signature style by looking to today's eclectic interiors.
Hudson Valley fixtures use only high-grade materials and superior manufacturing techniques such as heavy casting and hand-rubbed finishes—to create heirloom fixtures that will look beautiful for generations to come. For nearly thirty years, they have delivered impeccable designs, with superior form and finish, to well-appointed homes across the entire globe. Hudson Valley light fixtures deliver constant, close attention to detail, craftsmanship, and quality.
Ceiling mounted light fixtures are a good decorative solution for areas where you need to provide general lighting in smaller spaces with lower ceilings. Flush mount ceiling light fixtures attach directly on the ceiling, have a low profile and an enclosed bowl. Semi-flush mounted lights are attached to the ceiling, but have a several inch opening between the bowl and the ceiling giving them a somewhat taller profile. Semi-flush fixtures often provide more illumination since they throw light up onto the ceiling as well as down into the room.
While flush and semi-flush mount lights can usually be used interchangeably, ceiling height can sometimes determine which is the better choice. Flush mount light fixtures are good solutions where ceilings heights are low (8' or less) and space is limited such as hallways, closets, laundry rooms and bathrooms. Semi-flush light fixtures are an option where your ceiling height is between 8' to 10' and are well suited for kitchens, dining rooms, larger bedrooms and foyers.
Early American Styling
Imparting a sense of history, Early American style is inspired by the distinguished charm of the colonial period where light was provided by real candle lanterns and oil lamps. This style ranges from rustic and primitive fixtures that are distressed and weathered, to the elegant pewter, brass or silver fixture that featured thin sweeping arms and hand-carved spindles.
