Robert introduced sleek, new functionalist lighting designs in the 60s and 70s that have become classics of the modern era. Sonneman's sensibilities and prolific design vocabulary extend through the modern architectural and decorative genres of the 20th century and forward to the contemporary diversity of the 21st. "I continue to investigate the evolutionary and the revolutionary as the basis for developing a cosmopolitan American style" said Robert Sonneman.
In Sonneman's current lighting collection are over a thousand designs ranging from Warm Contemporary to Ornamental Modernism and Modernist styles. Robert Sonneman designs have been exhibited internationally as well as in the United States in major museums, exhibitions on design, galleries and shows over the last forty years. In addition, Robert participates and lectures at universities, and other venues of architecture and design. Robert lives and works in New York and continues to innovate lighting solutions for the way they live.
All fixtures and products sold by Sonneman are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from date of invoice. Sonneman's warranty covers only replacement or repair at their discretion, of the defective part(s), to the original purchaser and excludes any responsibility for labor or freight expense incurred by the purchaser or others, for servicing such claim during the warranty period.
Sonneman reserves the right to issue credit, repair or replace defective merchandise, at their opinion, upon receipt of written notification by the purchaser of the alleged defect, within the warranty period. Sonneman further reserves the right to examine the alleged defective product, or other proof, satisfactory to Sonneman of the defect.
This limited warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied.
Sonneman assumes no responsibility for labor costs in connection with the installation, removal or replacement of the warranted products, or for consequential damages.
Sonneman further reserves the right to refuse to honor the above warranty for any product(s) altered, improperly installed, or installed in an application for which it was not intended.
All claims must include sales receipt showing the item and date of purchase.
